Greek Community & Off-Campus Student Permits
Permit Options: Stadium and Lot 112N
- Thursday, September 4, 2025: Students living in Greek Community or off-campus housing who need overnight parking.
- Students can park in 112N East of Frederiksen Court, August 8, 2025-September 12, 2025 while they wait to purchase a permit.
- Monday September 15, 2025: Enforcement will begin and a 112N permit is required in 112N
Ames Intermodal Facility
2025-2026 AIF permits go live Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 9 a.m. CST.

Reminders
- Permits purchased online are valid for the academic year (Fall and Spring semesters). Permit prices and refunds are prorated.
- Lot permits are not valid for medical/vendor stalls, staff sections, or meters located in the lot. Please look for and read the signs and stickers around the Lot or on the meter.
2025-2026 Student Permits
Important Notes
- Parking permits can only be purchased through the Parking Portal.
- Students must have a signed housing contract to purchase a permit for the Residence Hall parking lots.
- Only available and/or eligible lots will be displayed to you.
- Have your license plate and vehicle information ready when logging in.
- Your license plate is your permit.
- All permit sales begin at 9:00 a.m. CST on their respective day.
- There will be no enforcement on student lots from August 8 to August 22, 2025.
- If these desired lots are full, students will have the option to purchase a Stadium permit.
- Lot 61 permits are valid in: Lots 61A, 61B, 61C, 61G
- Lot 112 permits are valid in: Lots 112A, B, C, D, F, G, J, L and N
- Stadium permits are valid in Lots S2-S8
- You will be required to move your vehicle for game days and other special events.
- Details about when and where to move vehicles is emailed to permit holders in advance.
- You will be required to move your vehicle for game days and other special events.
- Note: SUV residents are allowed to purchase 2 permits for the lot.
- You must purchase your first permit for one vehicle and, in a separate transaction, purchase your second permit for your other vehicle.
- Using this same method, you will be able to purchase 1 motorcycle or commuter permit.
