Summer Student Parking Permits

Summer Permit Details

Valid May 18, 2026 -  August 7, 2026

• Sale Date: Wednesday April 22, 2026 at 9:00 CST
• Online renewal for student summer permits will stop on Tuesday, July 1, 2026.
  • After this date, you will need to email parking@iastate.edu or stop in to get a summer permit.

Permit Price

• Permit prices are prorated monthly
• No refunds for canceled permits after February 14th.

Residence Halls

• Towers: Wallace, Wilson: Lot 61 (any student can purchase)
• Frederiksen Court: Lot 112
• SUV: Schilletter and University Village: Lot 201/202

Commuter Lots

• Can be purchased by any commuting student
• For the summer session only, residents of SUV and Frederiksen Court can purchase a commuter permit along with their residence hall permit.
  • Purchase your residence hall permit first, and afterward, in a separate transaction, purchase the commuter permit of your choice.
