Important Dates

Waiting list Lottery for AIF, Commuters and Lot 61 

  • Sign up any time between Wednesday, August 20, 2025 - Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at midnight (randomized lottery list - signing up first does not get you preference)

Waitlist Lottery 

AIF (Ames Intermodal Facility)

  • If selected, you will have the choice of Covered or Uncovered parking depending on availability.
  • Permits will be issued in the order the requests were received and must be paid for with Credit Card. U-Bill is NOT allowed.
  • Students will be selected at random in the lottery, regardless of when their name was entered.
  • Students will notified by the email they used to submit the form on September 3, 2025 after 9:00 am CST. 

Lot 61

  • Permits will be issued in the order the requests were received and billed to U-Bill.
  • If you already have a residence hall permit, it will be exchanged for the lot 61.
    • the difference in price (if any) will be billed to your U-Bill.
  • Students will be selected at random in the lottery, regardless of when their name was entered.
  • Students will notified by the email they used to submit the form on September 3, 2025 after 9:00 am CST.

Commuter Lots (29, 68, 119 & 120)

  • If selected, you will have the choice of Lot 29, 68, 119 or 120 depending on availability.
  • Permits will be issued in the order the requests were received and billed to U-Bill.
  • If you already have a commuter permit, it will be exchanged for the permit you request.
  • Students will be selected at random in the lottery, regardless of when their name was entered.
  • Students will notified by the email they used to submit the form on September 3, 2025 after 9:00 am CST.
