New Student Information

2023-24 Yearly Student Permit Sales

Permits will be on sale beginning in July 2023 according to your housing assignment. Specific dates are listed below. Permits are sold on a first come, first served basis.

Residence Hall Permits available online beginning at 9:00 am CST

 

 

How to Purchase Your Permit

1. Sign in to the ISU Parking Portal (after July 1), from your Okta logins or on the Parking Division Website. 
2. Click "Login Here with Net ID"
3. At the top, click the "permit" icon
4. Select your desired permit. If the permit you want is not displayed, it is either sold out or you are not eligible for it. 
5. On the right hand side of the page, click "Add New Vehicle" and enter accurate information for license plate, vehicle make, color and type of vehicle. Model and VIN are not required.
6. You may only add 1 vehicle. Contact the parking office if you have a motorcycle in addition to a vehicle.
7. Select your vehicle
8. Select the address displayed. DO NOT add a new address. The address displayed in imported from University systems.
9. Read through the agreement and click "Accept Agreement"
10. At the top right hand corner of the page, click "Add to Cart"
11. Click the "Cart" icon at the top of the page.
12. Select the payment type and click "Accept Agreement"
13. At the top right hand corner of the page click "check out"
14. You will receive an email with your virtual permit information. There will be no physical permits.
15. Permits are effective at the start of classes.
